Based in North County Dublin, Hackett Agricultural Consultants specialise in providing consultancy services to the Agricultural industry. This includes the provision of agronomy services for cereal, vegetable, potato and livestock producers; regulatory compliance for single payment, cross compliance pesticide compliance and other requirements, and consultancy services for litigation, financial analysis, public authorities and bespoke consultancy services to the wider agricultural industry.
Hackett Agricultural Consultants was established by Dr Richard Hackett PhD, MAgrSc in 2007. Richard has 25 years’ experience in the Agricultural and Horticultural industry, primary production (farming), technical sales, academic research, commercial research, policy development and implementation in the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, and agronomic advisory roles.
Richard is a member of the Agricultural Consultants Association ( www.aca.ie), the Agricultural Science association ( www.asa.ie) and is a founding member of the Irish Tillage Consultants Association (www.itca.ie) an association of independent agricultural consultants who specialise in providing agronomy services for crop production.
Hackett Agricultural Consultants are approved with the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine as ccfas advisors, Reps planner, SPS agricultural agents, approved advisors for the NDP Horticultural grant scheme and an approved pesticide advisor under the Sustainable Use Directive.
Hackett Agricultural Consultants works in conjunction with a cohort of other consultants such as Broadmore research, consultants in the Irish Tillage Consultants Association and consultants in the Agricultural Consultants Association.
